Each meeting room in this Washington D.C. meeting facility reflects the hotel’s mission to be considered the most technology focused luxury hotel in the city. The Renaissance M Street Hotel will open in spring 2007 as “A House of Dreams, a Home for Business.”
The hotel’s meeting rooms have experienced a complete re-birth, from the miles of fiber optic cabling serving guest’s most advanced technology needs to the enhanced audio and sound systems.
“We have taken the Washington D.C. hotel’s meeting space from the 1980’s into the present from color, to feel, to capability,” said Director of Sales & Marketing, Thom Puccio. “And with the miles of fiber optic cabling we are one of the most technologically advanced hotels in the city.”
All carpeting, wall coverings, chairs, linens, fixtures and food and beverage accoutrements have been redesigned to embrace the Renaissance brand commitment to stylish design with whimsical patterns, rich colors and imaginative accents.
New technology, such as fiber optic cabling, provides voice-over protocols for all phones (eliminating the need for telephone wire), wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, and can accommodate a wide range of technological needs, from simple networking to comprehensive live-broadcasting connectivity. In addition, new sound systems throughout all the Washington D.C meeting space and ballrooms provide a clear, digital sound quality for improved events and conferences. The Renaissance M Street’s nearly 12,000 square feet of space offers 13 configurations in this Washington D.C. meeting facility, ranging in size from 296 to 3,408 square feet, and accommodating gatherings from 10 to 400.
