“The secret” and how life coaching utilizes the law of attraction.

The big secret about life coaching is that everything starts in the mind. All wealth, health and physical things, are first created in the mind before it becomes reality, how many things do you have that you have not thought of at some point? With the attention on the movie “The secret”, people seem to have a better understanding on how the law of attraction works or at least realize that it is there. In fact the movie explains it in a way that is easy to comprehend and gives plenty of examples of it working. “The secret” could be used by life coaches as an example of how they can jump start you, in getting more of the things you want in life by working with your mind and finding an inner balance. The secret about having inner balance is that you do in fact start attracting more of the things you want, once you have defined what it is that you truly want.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) has utilized both the power of the law of attraction and the mind for years, using theories presented in “The secret” to a great extent. This includes working with your conscious mind and assisting you in making the subconscious mind understand what it is that you truly want. Does your mind know the difference between the things you want and the things you don’t want? Can you not think of a pink elephant? Can you tell it not to think of that pink elephant? In other terms, the secret to learning more about yourself is to recognize your thoughts and learn more about controlling your mind. You might even say that parts of your thoughts are being reprogrammed. They are being reprogrammed to deliberately create the things you want.
What you think is what your reality becomes. Being aware of your thoughts is the first step in creating the things you want in your reality be it health, wealth, love or things.
