February 27, 2007 (Press Release) --
Small Florida company Global Beverage Ent Inc which markets and sell the only milk-based carbonated drink in USA called "Kool Cow Sparkling Drink" has been sued by conglomerate giant Kraft Foods who claims Kool Cow infrines on their famous Kool-Aid trademark.
Jeff Kaplan says "who is Kraft to say they own the generic word "Kool". The two products couldn't be more different. Our Kool Cow is a milk-based carbonated drink using as its logo a dreadlock wearing hip hop cow who wears a baseball cap, dreadlocks, sunglasses and a Moo necklace. Kool-Aid means to lower ones temperature and uses a smiling glass pitcher with ice cubes to sell the product. Kaplan also says" Kraft tried to stop a soda called "Kool Kat" who used a hip cat as its logo in 1999. Kraft lost the case! Kaplan also plans to sue Kraft for 10 million dollars for business interference because his investor has backed out stating he cannot afford to fight Kraft who will bleed you in legal bills until you give up. Kaplan vows to get this case to a jury.
