Marble Shield™ is a unique process developed by Sealing Technologies Management to densify calcite based stones increasing their resistance to etching by acid based liquids. After Marble Shield™ is applied, natural stones can then be sealed using Granite Shield’s™ trademarked sealing process. Granite Shield has been providing lifetime sealed maintenance free warranties on granite since 2002 and is the exclusive provider of the Marble Shield™ restoration and sealing process.

Marble, travertine and limestone have always been high maintenance flooring applications due to their softness and porous ness. Marble Shield™ eliminates these concerns by increasing the density of the stone and making it less porous. Then when Granite Shield applies its trademarked sealing process flooring can now also have a lifetime warranty against staining and etching*.

Marble Shield restoration services also include grout cleaning, marble, limestone, and travertine grinding, honing, and polishing.

*Etching may still occur if acidity level is too high but may still be removed easily with Granite Shield’s etch removal cream.
