March 5, 2007 (Press Release) --
March 5, 2007, Brooklyn, NEW YORK— Prospect Heights, one of Brooklyn’s most exciting and cutting edge neighborhoods, will soon be celebrating the Grand Opening of its new it-lounge. Well Lounge will be opening its doors for the first time to the social public of New York on Thursday, March 15.
Their sophisticated combination of creative cuisine, cocktails, and a divine wine and cheese list ensures that patrons of all lifestyles will find their dining experience exceptional. The chic and comfortable ambiance of the lounge accents the social experience, with hip soundtracks playing in the background.
After dinner hours wind down on opening night, eclectic music spun by the world-renowned young and talented DJ Belinda Becker boosts the lounge-style atmosphere. As Well Lounge solidifies its continued presence within the Brooklyn social scene, a myriad of DJs will bring a new and fresh atmosphere to the venue. Well boasts top-quality cocktails that add to the entertainment; patrons will not be able to help but to enjoy themselves until the early hours of the morning.
Not just opening for public social use, Well Lounge will have the facilities to accommodate up to 125 guests in an environment that will make any private event one to remember. Guests of Well who prefer a more secluded experience will delight in the luxury of the private room. A private party is welcome to dine or enjoy Well’s bottle service in the private décor and ambiance reminiscent of a Japanese dining room, complete with a long, low table, plush rug and throw pillows to ensure patrons can relax comfortably. Whether the desire is a delicious dinner in a chic atmosphere or a night out in a lively, trendy environment, the doors of Well Lounge will be opening to welcome the socially elite people of Brooklyn to their ideal social setting.
Well Lounge has an ideal location as well, with close proximity to Fort Greene, Clinton Hills and Park Slope, as well as local landmarks such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens, Wollman’s Rink, and the upcoming Barclay Center. Its position within this cultural and social center ensures Well’s fast success in the Brooklyn Social Scene.
The Official launch is taking place in conjunction with the kickoff party of Brooklyn’s newest art Mecca event: BK Fashion Week{end} (www.bkfashionweekend.com). The fashion shows, orchestrated by the BK Style Foundation, are the perfect addition to the flair of Well Lounge’s opening week.
Sponsors for the evening include Courvoisier, Life Quality BMW, Jordache, who will be dressing Well’s wait staff, Uptown Magazine, who will be providing publications for the gift bags, Iceland Spring Water and Stoli Elite.
