March 6, 2007 (Press Release) --
In February 2007 international fashion designers converged at New York City’s world-famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel to present an array of couture and luxury collections. Each designer brought a unique fashion perspective based on their experience, background and creative spirit. The shows were as varied as the diverse collections presented. Twelve glittering shows were held over three days along with networking events and after parties. Attendees included an array of diplomats representing many of the participating designers’ countries of origin including Lebanon, Croatia, South Africa, Moldova and the Philippines.
