Graduates of Mt. Pleasant High School Class of 1979 in Michigan have a new website available for its class members. MPHS graduates from the year 1979 are encouraged to register for membership so they can view all content and participate in the "class project", including keeping the content current.
The MPHS Class of 1979 website is provided by Marcie (Wolf) Szczubelek of AlphaGeek Web Design.
"The goal of the website is to provide a fun place to keep in touch with our classmates", stated Szczubelek, webmaster. "Members can communicate through various tools provided right on the website."
The new website currently features a photo gallery with images from reunions past. Members of the Class of 1979 have access to a discussion board where members can start lively chats about high school memories, update classmates on personal and professional news and share ideas on future reunions and gatherings.
The majority of the website content is only open to registered members of the website.
"Security is important so the class member list and the discussion board are both hidden from the public view," continued Szczubelek. "In order to view all website content, classmates must register and then login to participate.
Once a member is logged in, they can add their name to the class list with a photo from high school and a recent photo of themselves. Members of the MPHS Class of 1979 are encouraged to post new discussions, add web links and update classmates on news of interest.
