Quality Physician Services (QPS) announces Robert “Bob” Spann is joining the practice management firm as Vice President of Operations. For the past 20 years, Bob worked with medical practices, hospitals and healthcare organizations both in-house and as an outside consultant.
As a senior level manager Bob’s involvement in business development and major event coordination, managed care, contract negotiations and human resource planning. Until its sale, he was the COO for Pinnacle Emergency Consultants, the largest private group of emergency physicians in Georgia. Most recently he began and developed a correctional healthcare group to 20 locations, 300+ employees of physicians, nursing and ancillary services.
As Vice President of Operations, Bob will be managing all aspects of QPS client operations, and operations for the practice management company. He will be establishing protocols for human resource acquisition and management with QPS and outsourced practice clients.
