March 17, 2007 (Press Release) --
For years the non-profit credit counseling solution dominated the credit counseling industry. Umfortunately, these entities, by their very nature, were really equiped to only offer one solution. That solution was for unsecured credit card debt, and is called a Debt Management Program. What about secured debt problems? What about more complicated issues, such as Credit Repair?, Refinance issues, etc.
Clearly, everyones problem is different, and the cookie cutter solution offered by non-profits, is unfortunately, severly limited. Clearly, todays world requires an enviroment structured to handle more than unsecured credit card debt. The only vehicle which can make this happen is a for-profit referral program, which has contractual ties to a Debt Management Program, a Debt Settlement Program, a Bankruptcy attorney, and Mortgage broker. An entity such as this, can freely assess an individuals problem and point to, and implement an appropriate solution. A solution which truly fits the individuals problem. Non-Profits have for years enrolled people overwhelmed by credit card debt into Debt Management Programs which were poorly suited to handle their problem, as evidenced by the high dropout rate of these programs. The future is clearly in the for profit arena.

Credit Counselors today must be equiped to offer more services.
