Max Hany Mikhaiel, owner of Max Fitness Academy, is dedicated to battling the fight against childhood obesity. Max is the founder of the non-profit organization called Drive Kids To Be Fit whose mission is to educate, inspire, and provide free access to fitness facilities and fun events for kid's who's health is at risk from an overweight lifestyle. He is the author of “Your Roadmap to Fitness” and creator of www.drivetobefit.com and he is asking you to support the battle against childhood obesity.
Max opens his gym, Max Fitness Academy, to all-overweight children for free fitness and nutritional training and works with their families to support healthy, and happy results.
Max is available to speak at school assemblies and organizations driving kids to be fit through his unique 21-day approach. He also conducts weekend group excursions with at-risk children opening them to a new world of fun with fitness.
Max Fitness Academy trains local high school students as boxers as part of the Drive to be Fit nonprofit organization. The boxing training gives students self-esteem and educates them on how to be fit.
Now, Max Fitness Academy is proud to host Amateur Boxing Night! John Crosby, prizefighter, is the special guest host and will be offering bouts with the guest and will speak about the discipline and sport of boxing. You will learn about the mental focus, coordination, reflexes, stress release, muscle coordination and aerobic/anaerobic fitness that boxing provides.
Come join us for nine exciting fights, as these fighters will demonstrate their skills and battle each other to raise funds for Drive Kids To Be Fit. Local vendors will also be participating in a street fair extravaganza outside the gym.

Max is also part of Governor Schwarzenegger's Healthy Action Programs coalition which rewards people and their children who take preventative health actions by participating in weight reduction and diabetes management programs with vouchers and credits for health-related goods, services and items, such as gym and weight management class memberships.
