Bangalore, March 21, 2007: The Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore, a large service organization, focused on service to community is proud to present “CHANAKYASHASTRA” a well acclaimed English play. Chanakyashastra will be presented to the Bangalore audience by the Chequered Flag Team of Mumbai. Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore is organizing the play in aid of construction of a school at Hulkur village for underprivileged children at the outskirts of Bangalore. The play will be staged at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall on March 23, 2007 at 7:00 pm. The tickets are priced at Rs.750/-, Rs.500/-, Rs.300/- and will be available at all the outlets of Purple haze, Rotary House on Lavelle road and the Super Market on Brigade Road. Inner Wheel Club President Vasundara Vincent Raj said that the best one could do for a child is to give access to education. The organization has been consistently serving the community in various ways and to name a few major projects undertaken are construction of Home Science Lab, book library, breast feeding awareness campaign, a unique workshop for teachers on Action Research was conducted.
Chanakyashastra is adopted by various corporates. “Chanakyashastra” is a new concept of corporate leadership training and organizational development. As the name suggests, the play highlights the leadership practices of Chanakya, portrayed by well known theatre and film artist Rajendra Gupta. Written and directed by corporate trainer, theatre and film director, Sanjay Srinivas, it aims to underline the usefulness and applicability of Kautilya’s acumen for future leaders of the country. “Chanakyashastra”, a witful play, is an anecdote of a corporation NINE (New India New Energy), which is setting global standards and its ambitious employee Siddarth Srivastav who was shown doors. The play has received extensive audience’ applauses in Mumbai theatres and also worldwide fame by being showcased in places like Harvard, London and Muscat. “Chanakyashastra” now look forward to rock Bangalore stage also.
