Trend Micro to ship New Version of Smartphone Security

Trend Micro, Incorporated (TSE: 4704, NASDAQ: TMIC), a leader in network antivirus and content security software and services, announced a new version of its smartphone security solution, available to the market in April 2007. This latest release includes new security features within the award-winning Trend Micro� Mobile Security. Trend Micro Mobile Security 3.0 for Symbian based S60 protects all Nokia Eseries devices, including the new Nokia E61i, Nokia E65 and Nokia E90 Communicator against hackers and intrusions while improving on the previously available mobile malicious code protection.

According to independent analyst firm IDC, converged mobile device shipments surged 42% to reach 80.5 million units in 2006 (source: IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, February 2007).
