Speed skating gold medalist caught with a man

March 21, 2007, Colorado Springs, CO. Apolo Anton Ohno, accomplished speed skater winning multiple medals in the winter olympics admitted to being gay on a morning t.v. show. On Saturday March 17, Apolo was seen leaving a cafe with another male holding hands. The man was later found out to be Johnathan Delazio, a high school friend who was helped through badgering by Apolo when he came out of the colset in high school.
The information is not surprising considering a comment that was made by Apolo on a USA today interview where he was reluctant to answer a question about whether or not he had a girlfriend. No pictures are available as of yet as to the new couple due to Apolo being the only one available for the Colorado Springs morning show, "Good Morning Colorado."
The information has not been taking lightly by Ohno's fans as many of his followers were female. Ohno has been reluctant in releasing more information on this topic but admits this will not affect his competing in the Olympics in the least.
