The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce names Melberg, founder of Melberg Marketing and Small Business Mavericks, as finalist for 2007 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – March 29, 2007 – Small Business Mavericks, a division of Melberg Marketing, today announced its founder, Caroline Melberg, has been named a finalist for the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award.
The Twin West Chamber, with more than 1,000 members in the western and northwestern suburbs and beyond, is the third largest regional chamber of commerce in the Twin Cities. Members submit nominations for the chamber's Entrepreneur of the Year and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year awards, and each nominee undergoes a lengthy interview process before the Small Business Awards Task Force selects a winner.
"I am delighted and honored that the work we've done in establishing Melberg Marketing and Small Business Mavericks is being recognized," said Melberg, president and founder of both companies. "The TwinWest Chamber has provided a great set of resources and strong network that continues to help us on our way."

The other finalists for the TwinWest Emerging Entrepreneur award this year are Dick Brown of Voice Solutions and David Throldahl of AVEX. The winner will be announced at Twin West's 2007 Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 15.
