A local aspiring screenwriter is no longer aspiring, having multiple screenplays produced in the US and Pakistan.

An aspiring screenwriter from Cleveland, Ohio has struck gold in the international and independent movie markets.
Tom Smolko is an eight year screenwriting veteran who has finally figured out the combination of what it takes to get a screenplay produced. With his first short film, Courage, completed by LaChe films just a few weeks ago, Smolko is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first feature film that is in post production in Pakistan.
The film, titled Do Over, was filmed in the Urdu language and will feature english subtitles. Smolko has recently written a second feature film called Thieves that will also be filmed in Pakistan in the coming months.
