Petards, Inc. Now Offers 360-Degree Panoramic Functionality with its ImmerVision Enables NVRs.

ImmerVision, the expert in 360� panoramic imaging technology and developer of the IMV1-1/3 Panomorph lens for video surveillance, announced today that the Petards, Inc., the leading international supplier of advanced security, surveillance, and public safety systems, has successfully certified that all its Network Video Recorders (NVRs) are ImmerVision Enables. The ImmerVision Enables certification allows users of Petards IP video surveillance systems to access panoramic functionality. This means that by using ImmerVision�s IMV1 1/3 Panomorph lens, Petards NVRs will now have the ability to survey a 360 degree area, live or in playback. ImmerVision�s Panomorph lens is the only optic technology, in the world, that can enable standard analog and IP video surveillance systems, with panoramic capabilities without any blind spots or downtime. For Petards, this capability is particularly important as its surveillance systems are used to protect high-risk areas such as, mass transit systems, casinos, government and other public areas where security is critical.

Petards and ImmerVision will host a live demonstration to show Petard�s ImmerVision Enables NVR panoramic functionality, when connected to a network of analog and IP video surveillance cameras equipped with the IMV1-1/3 panomorph lens, March 28 - 30, 2007, Booth 7041 at the ISC West show in Las Vegas, the largest security show in the world.
