Atlanta, GA/Greenville, SC –The PRISM Award Showcase which took place on March 22, from 8:00am – 1:00pm, at the Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Center (246 Perimeter Center Pkwy, NE) was a “showcase event” and educational forum for organizations and professional coaches wanting to learn how to successfully implement an organizational coaching program. With presentations from Marriott Atlanta Marquis, Bodker Ramsey, Andrews, Winograd & Wildstein Attorneys at Law, Kaiser Permanente and BMW Manufacturing Company., LLC participants got an inside look at “model” coaching programs.
The day began with a featured keynote speaker, John Bennett, PhD, PCC, CMC, who revealed the results of his newest research on trends in organizational coaching.
This keynote was followed by discussion highlighting comments from a panel of experts in the field of organizational coaching and “Best Practice “ presentations from each of the three Georgia companies, along with Participating Chapter nominee, BMW Manufacturing Company.,LLC (nominated by the Upstate South Carolina ICF Chapter), revealing the “ins” and “outs” of their coaching programs. Topics included metrics, lessons learned, how they integrated coaching with mentoring and training programs, how they got buy-in from all levels in the organization, methodology used, coaching strategies, coach selection process, future plans, return on investment and more. Each presentation was followed by a Q&A opportunity so that audience members could learn more about these top organizations’ successful coaching program strategies.
The Georgia Coach Association (GCA) and the Upstate South Carolina International Coach Federation Chapter announced the winners (Marriott Marquis and BWM Manufacturing) at the event. Mr. Benn Paletz accepted the award for Marriott Marquis and Ms. Sandra Hayes, Section Manager of Learning and Development accepted the award for Spartanburg’s BMW Manufacturing Plant.

 BMW Manufacturing Company.,LLC, Spartanburg, SC – WINNER of the Participating Chapter PRISM Award (4500 employees, based in Spartanburg, SC, nominated by GCA’s sister chapter: Upstate SC ICF Chapter) – “In an organization where change is a way of life, and people of very different cultures and languages must work in teams, coaching is helping to bring the workforce into alignment.”
These companies, nominated by International Coach Federation professional coaches, Jane McMullen Howe of Atlanta and Gene Mills Gallivan of Greenville, SC, showcased their programs and were recognized for implementation of strong coaching programs to build leadership, improve retention, boost morale, and strengthen communication
