Language Weaver and across Systems Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

April 3, 2007 (Press Release) -- LOS ANGELES/KARLSBAD – April 3, 2007 – Language Weaver, a leading software company developing enterprise software for the automated translation of human languages, and across Systems GmbH, a spin-off of the well-known Nero AG, Germany, have signed a co-marketing and technology integration agreement. The across Language Server is a collaborative business solution for all language resources and translation processes, including a translation memory and terminology system as well as tools for project and workflow management. Using across Language Server, product managers, translators and proofreaders all work together within one system, either in-house or smoothly integrated with translation service providers. across will provide an interface for the Language Weaver integration, allowing its customers to opt for Language Weaver automated translation modules.

The cooperation will be launched concurrently on April 16 at AIIM Expo in Boston, MA, and at the Forum ITC in Hannover, Germany. AIIM Expo is a leading enterprise content and information management event; 2007 marks the first time it will have a Language Technology and Services Pavilion, an initiative led by the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA). Forum ITC (International Technical Communication) is to be held within the scope of the worldwide leading industrial trade fair Hannover Messe, Germany.

The strategic partnership marks the first time across integrates statistically-driven translation. The integration covers all of Language Weaver’s translation modules.
