Cory Furlong, the six foot one swing man, from Hempstead High School has offically declared for the NBA draft.
Furlong, through his Agent Mark Wagner released the following statement. "After speaking with several division one coaches and heavily weighing the decision to forgo college or entering the NBA draft, I have decided it is best for my family to enter the NBA draft at this time. I would like to thank my family and friends who have supported me and helped me come to this decision."
Some experts expect Furlong to go in the late first to early second round.
