Portland OR, EFM Racing and Purcell Race Engineering release new website for 2007. www.efmracing.com

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 8, 2007 -- The North American 2007 racing season finds EFM Racing company and team owner, Eric Purcell, working with AIM Autosport of Woodbridge, Ontario Canada. Purcell is providing engineering services for the Discovery Channel's team driver #33 Devin Cunningham.

The 2006 season, Purcell worked with Walker Racing providing engineering services for their Formula BMW drivers.

EMF Racing Team roster for 2007 consists of drivers from California, Washington, and Oregon competing in the SCCA Sports 2000 or S2 Class running the Van Diemen RFS-22 chassis.

2007 Drivers are:

Michial Shumate - WA
Tom Phillips - WA
David Furguson - CA
Dennis Pavlina - WA
Rob Conrad - CA
Rick Johnson - OR

The team will compete in Regional and National events as well as the SCCA 2007 Run-Offs held in Topeka, KS.

Other events for the EFM Racing Team; S2 Cup, SVRA, NASA, and other Endurance series. We will also have drivers competing at the 30th Year Celebration of the Sports 2000 class at Road America in May of 2007.

The focus of EFM Racing is to elevate the SCCA experience for the driver and assist with professional engineering services, coaching, and logistics.
