Jordan's leading provider of hygiene and toiletry products, part of Nuqul Group, recently announced the launch of its Vote for Petra Campaign
This campaign is to serve as a continuation of countrywide efforts geared towards ensuring that Petra gets recognized as one of the seven new wonders of the world. FINE C0 Ltd announced the official launch of its Vote for Petra Campaign at a Press Conference and launching event it held on April 9th 2007 at the Sheraton Hotel.
The event was attended by the Head of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, the Deputy Board Chairman of Nuqul Group Mr. Mazin Al Humoud, Head of FINE CO Ltd’s Marketing Department Mr. Mu’amar Al Hadidi, and Mr. Mahran Najarian FINE Co Ltd’s Regional Manager for Marketing in the Levant.
In a welcoming speech that was both sincere and emphatic Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, the Deputy Board Chairman of Nuqul Group, said, “This isn’t the first time that we take part in initiatives that promise further development for our national economy.
Petra is a national treasure, and this campaign helps highlight it as a major tourist attraction. We hope that through our efforts we will bring the rose city to a much wider global audience and by doing so we will be serving our community”
FINE CO Ltd’s Vote for Petra campaign is to last for a duration of almost one month. During this time period the firm will be setting up booths throughout Jordan’s shopping centers. These booths will be equipped with mobile phones that shoppers can use to vote for Petra as one the new Seven Wonders of the World via SMS. FINE will also be setting up a booth in its Sahab headquarters for the same purpose, and from another angle it will also be launching a new product designed especially for this initiative. The firm will also be setting up screens within its Sahab factories. These screens will be used to highlight the number of votes that Petra will be getting through the FINE vote for Petra Campaign
FINE’s new product comes in the form of a tissue box containing 75 tissues and decorated with images from Petra .Each box will be sold for a sum of JD0.65, and in the launching event itself the box will be sold for JD 0.5. The price of each box constitutes to one vote meaning that with each box sold the Rose city will gain one new vote of confidence.
From his end, Head of FINE CO Ltd’s Marketing Department Mr. Muamar Al Hadidi, stated, “We work to always be by the side of our fellow community members in Jordan, and it is our commitment to quality that has granted us the recognition we have today.
