The Monster Maze Announces the 8th Annual Gathering of Haunters !
Mechanicsburg, PA, 26 May 2007 - Michael Bruner of The Monster Maze: The Ultimate Amateur Haunted House will be hosting "THE" 8th annual social gathering of individuals within the haunted house industry. Individuals from all over the east coast who own, work, or act in a haunted attraction will come to socialize with their fellows "haunters". A picnic with skeletal corpses, ghostly mirrors, glowing tombstones and spiders the size of king size beds, are displayed as each haunted attraction shows their props and what makes them unique.
The Annual Gathering of Haunters will have seminars useful to those in the haunted house industry, vendors selling unique haunted house props that are not available to the general public, and people within the haunted house industry will share various tips and tricks to improve your haunted house business.
As unlikely a location to host a giant picnic for those within the haunted house industry, the event will be held on the grounds of The Silver Spring Presbyterian Church, one of the oldest churches in Pennsylvania (with one of the oldest graveyards!) at 444 Silver Spring Road, Mechanicsburg PA 17050. The church has kind enough to host this event for the past few years and have graciously allowed the event to return this year as well on Saturday May 26, 2007, event hours are from NOON to MIDNIGHT and admission is $10 per adult (Children are free.) Open to all individuals within the haunt industry (haunt owners, actors, home/yard haunters, haunt vendors) and their families.
For many years, the haunted house industry has been very similar to the world of stage magic. "Why should I share my secrets with you? You will just copy my ideas." Michael Bruner, a 2 term elected member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Haunted Attractions ( www.HauntedHouseAssociation.org ) has been working hard to smash this pre-conceived notion of isolationism. The Gathering of Haunters fosters an environment of brotherhood and safety first among people within the haunted house industry by giving a human face and name to a competitors haunted attraction.
