April 11, 2007 (Press Release) --
May is National Cystic Fibrosis Month. In honor of that, the Olathe Daily News (Olathe,KS) and the Carrollton Democrat (Carrollton, MO) have recently done stories on our son Lyman and our campaign to raise money for a cure. I would like to invite you to find a local family, contact us or find some way to make this month a success and bring awareness to the disease. This is no small problem, if you are from Northern European ancestry (Caucasian) you have a one in 29 chance of carrying the CF gene. With a median age of 36 years old, my 20 month old son needs your help. We will me walking in Shawnee Mission Park on May 5th, 2007 for the annual Great Strides walk to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. This event is put on by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and we are making progress, as the median life span is now 36 years. Learn more at:
