Acomplia is developed by Sanofi-Aventis. Acomplia was approved in Europe by FDA on 21 June 2006 and in July Acomplia was available for sale in all 25 European countries. It was not clear that when Acomplia diet pill be approved by FDA in USA.
Acomplia is the first in a new class of drugs called CB1 blockers, which block receptors in the brain. Rimonabant is the active ingredient in Acomplia. Acomplia is not only effective for obese people but it is helpful for Smokers.
