CFC’s Unique On-going E-Summit Designed to Aid Search for Solutions to Air, Water, Land Conservation and Renewable Energy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 14, 2007 -- New York, NY : CHINA FINANCE CENTRE, the New York based multimedia center dedicated to expanding business ties between China and the United States, has announced the organization of Environmental E-Summit 2007 to address critical ecological issues facing both nations.

Unlike the typical multi-day conferences which, due to time limits, can only provide brief surveys of vital ecological issues, CFC has devised a unique approach, which uses Internet as a base to permit the continuing presentation and exchange of detailed information on this critical subject. Also, as with the Internet in general, the forum will be available to all those interested in participating.

In announcing the CFC initiative, William J. Hallenbeck, CFC president, noted: “UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon recently told a Paris conference that dealing with environmental problems, including climate challenges, has risen to the top of his agenda, as the most critical global issue that threatens efforts to maintain world peace and security. The Secretary General stressed that only coordinated international actions can tackle the problem.” Mr. Hallenbeck added, “CFC has developed a unique multimedia approach, which while designed to focus on challenges faced by the US and China, will by its nature foster and expand the coordinated international effort, which the Secretary General has described as essential."

The CFC Environmental E-Summit employs video, print and Internet resources to facilitate the submission and dissemination of information addressing environmental changes, problems, and solutions, combining technological advances, government policy, corporate response and voluntary actions. All materials provided to the E-Summit, including detailed engineering analyses, technological submissions, white papers and related information will be available for direct access via www.chinafc.net.

In addition, periodically, CFC will sponsor keynote presentations to be held in New York before invited audiences and the press in order to provide expanded attention to the continuing activities of the E-Summit. Transcripts of these events will be made available as magazine inserts throughout China The keynote presentations will also be carried live in the US and China via CFC’s advanced high-definition Internet video facilities at www.china.itunein.com as supplied by Tekseed,LLC.

CFC Environmental Summit 2007 will address a wide range of issues facing the U.S and China including: agricultural ecosystems, water quality, forest health, renewable energy sources, pollution, biodiversity, coastal and marine management, and environmental health. Other issues to be addressed are social impact of critical ecological changes and sustainability; challenges facing business, industry and manufacturing; government policy, management and innovation; community and economic infrastructure; and measurement of performance.
