Representatives from many top organizations dedicated to bringing New York single professionals together for networking, friendships, romance and outdoor adventures come together under one roof at the 1st ever New York Networking, Introductions and Activities Expo at “Columbus 72” night club, Saturday April 28, 2007, from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
The event is organized by Dave Cervini, a former NY radio air personality and Clear Channel marketing executive who is now the founder and owner of The New York Social Network ( www.newyorksocialnetwork.com ) a social activities and networking group. Dave has been working with single professionals in the city for nearly 10 years. Cervini says: “There are literally thousands of people in the city who are either from other areas or work too many hours to be able to form relationships and friendships in the traditional ways” He adds: “Organizations like ours bring people together in fun and safe ways”.
Participating organizations include several social gathering groups, speed dating services, dinner and lunch groups, Jewish matchmakers, Catholic groups, image coaches and career services. Confirmed so far are: The New York Social Network, Social Circles, Let's Meet Out, Pros in the City, 8 at 8, Hurry Date, 8 Minute Dating, Meet Market Adventures, Dinner Party NYC, Breaking Bread, Holy Trinity CRC, Shoshanna's Jewish Matchmaking, Outdoor Bound, Club Getaway and Catherine Molitor image coach.
The cost of the event is $15 and includes admission, a welcome beverage, snacks and admission to the “after expo” dance event at “Columbus 72”. Close to a thousand people are expected to attend.
Although marriage is not always the goal Mr. Cervini can take credit for nearly 26 marriages through his work.
