April 15, 2007 (Press Release) --
Continuing to help Replogle Globes, Inc., market its high-quality, American-made globes to high-end specialty markets, Planet Propaganda branded and designed a new binder featuring the 75-year-old, Illinois-based company's range of globe products.
Replogle's catalog draws heavily from the brand personality and messaging that Planet developed for the manufacturer's website redesign introduced earlier this year. The catalog's copy includes such phrases as "Discover a place. Remember a place you've never been," "Globes have gravity," and "It's good to wonder."
"No matter what age you are, if there's a globe in the room, it draws you to it. We've kept that same sense of exploration, wonderment, discovery and interaction employed online and applied it to the printed page," says Michael Murray, Planet Propaganda's brand manager. "The binder's high-quality materials and production are equally worthy of the company's craftsmanship, and instantly convey this premium position to the specialty retailers, buyers and consumers Replogle seeks to reach."
In addition to resonating with these important audiences, Replogle and Planet intend the product binders to remain as a retail reference catalog for several years. "They are admittedly expensive to create, but because the products remain relevant for a number of years, Replogle was able to invest in a well-designed, durable, two-ring binder that can be easily updated. This way, they can just print replacement pages as they're needed."
"Planet Propaganda took us to the next level in presenting an updated image that better represents our quality and position to our customers, as well as gains enthusiasm among the specialty retailers, dealers and buyers. They were wonderful to work with and did top-notch work to create something we are very proud of," says Maureen Kehoe, direct market manager for Replogle, "They have provided us with a strong, creative foundation to support all other marketing efforts."
Planet also helped Replogle organize its bound collection into retail-friendly product categories: Premiere, Home and Office, Education, and Corporate Office, plus an introductory section on Replogle's brand and company. Far exceeding the circulation of binders, 50,000 copies of this company brand overview were printed for direct marketing such as at tradeshows, meetings and as stand-alone mailers, as well as background information for media.
Planet Propaganda is a design, advertising and interactive company committed to shaping passion-based brands. Founded in 1989 in Madison, Wis., Planet's national clients include Gary Fisher mountain bikes, Bretford furniture and workspaces, PunchStock images, and Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches.
