April 16, 2007 (Press Release) --
Best known for playing Tony in "West Side Story," Beymer was landing small parts on TV and film before being tapped to play Benjamin Horne on "Twin Peaks."
He has since appeared in a number of small parts -- but who can forget him in the made-for-TV movie "The Face" in which he played Dr. Matthew Sheridan opposite thespian extraordinaire Yasmine Bleeth?
Interesting fact: Onetime roommate of Andy Kaufman.
After "Twin Peaks": "My Girl 2" (1994) ... Peter Webb
"Foxfire" (1996) ... Mr. Parks
"Elvis Meets Nixon" (1997) (TV) ... Bob Haldeman
Sheryl Lee
She was the star of the series, but was a little stiff in her part. (Sorry.) As the dead Laura Palmer, the homecoming queen the series revolved around, Lee was one alluring corpse. Lynch had mercy on her, though, and also gave her the part of Palmer's cousin, Madeleine Ferguson, on the series.
After "Twin Peaks," Lee had roles in Lynch's "Wild at Heart" and "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me." She also played a sexy blood-sucker in "Vampires" and has had a recurring role in the TV series "One Tree Hill."
She was also on her way to returning to her roots as a famous stiff when she was tapped to play the part of the dead housewife, Mary Alice Young, in "Desperate Housewives" but was replaced in the pilot.
Lee has become an outspoken member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, appearing in ads and on commercials for the animal rights group.
Interesting fact: Married to musician Jesse Diamond, son of singer Neil Diamond; they have a son named Elijah.
After "Twin Peaks": "This World, Then the Fireworks" (1997) ... Lois Archer
"Paradise, Texas" (2005) ... Betsy Kinney
"CSI: NY" ... Ellen Garner (one episode, 2006)
Sherilyn Fenn
Fenn has had one of the fullest -- and most eclectic -- careers following her stint as Audrey Horne, the high school vixen on "Twin Peaks." She always had been a B-movie queen, but after her breakout part on the series, she took on roles that pushed the envelope and she's become an outspoken critic of the Hollywood machine. In real life and in the movies, she has resembled the pin-up starlets of the 1950s.
After her "Twin Peaks" run, Fenn posted for a Playboy magazine pictorial. She has been chosen as one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" and was named one of the 100 sexiest women in the world by lad-mag FHM.
Most of her films have been underground hits. Critics were impressed by a role of hers that had been turned down by Kim Basinger; she was the title character in "Boxing Helena," in which her limbs were (involuntarily) amputated.
In 1995, Fenn took advantage of her old-school persona and starred in the made-for-TV movie "Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story."

When you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way. Or at least until you resurrect your career on a cult TV hit. That's what happened to Richard Beymer.
