Madonna couldn't resist her do-gooder impulses Monday: She set off to Malawi in a silver jet with her brood (including Malawian cutie David Banda) to do charity work.

What exactly that means is quite sketchy but it's got to do with continuing her work with Raising Malawi, the AP tells me. Judging from early photos, it involves donning fashionably appropriate combat trousers, a khaki T-shirt and black boots to visit farmers being helped to grow maize and farm fish. Malawi officials also will assess how David is doing in the Madonna household.
Madonna is 48. Hubby Guy Ritchie is 38. David is 1. Daughter Lourdes is 9. And that other kid, Rocco, apparently did not come along; he's 6.
THE ULTIMO INSULT:

Rod Stewart is mad at his daughter Kimberly because she couldn't resist a nearly $200,000 fee to take a modeling gig for Ultimo lingerie. This is bad because a while ago Ultimo ditched Rod's lady friend Penny Lancaster and hired his ex-wife, the supernatural Rachel Hunter.
Anyway the Sun, in England, says Rod ranted that the Ultimo staffer who set up the deal with Kimberly is a "manipulative cow."
A MODEL ROLE:
Gisele cracks 'Code'
Gisele Bundchen will play the babe in the "Da Vinci Code" sequel or prequel or whatever it is, "Angels and Demons," Variety reports. No confirmation yet, but shooting is supposed to start in July, so they'll have to get on with it.
