April 18, 2007 (Press Release) --
New Braunfels, TX: Lynn Byrne, independent education consultant and Director of Hill Country ECS-Research & Consulting, is making great strides in promoting the value of positive self-esteem in teens, young adults, and parents. As an independent education consultant, Dr. Byrne is greatly concerned with creating and maintaining educational and support programs that build, support, and maintain a sense of positive self-esteem—especially amongst America’s urban youth.
Notes Dr. Byrne, “Our students face some interesting hurdles in the educational process–-and few of these hurdles have anything at all to do with their financial status, race/ethnicity, or social background. Their biggest hurdle? Adults—authority figures and educators--that have lost sight of the importance of the building a student’s self-esteem and assisting them in maximizing their human potential.”
In March 2007, Dr. Byrne joined the National Association for Self-Esteem, an organization dedicated to fully integrating self-esteem into the fabric of American society. Dr. Byrne believes that this partnership will provide Hill Country ECS with the opportunity to build research and programs and contribute to the general body of expertise related to self-estime and human potential.
