Madinat Jumeirah has launched Magnolia – Dubai’s first ever, fine-dining restaurant specialising in vegetarian cuisine

Madinat Jumeirah, part of Dubai based luxury hospitality group Jumeirah, has launched Magnolia – Dubai’s first ever, fine-dining restaurant specialising in vegetarian cuisine.
Officially opening its doors mid April at the Madinat Jumeirah, the Magnolia restaurant is dedicated to using organic, vegetarian ingredients to offer a unique and healthy dining alternative.
Magnolia’s Chef de Cuisine, Ms Gabriele Kurz, is the driving force behind the new concept and is thrilled to be sharing her innovative vegetarian recipes with residents and guests alike. Ms Kurz believes that, “Life in general is increasingly hectic and the importance of taking time out to relax and re-fuel our bodies with healthy, wholesome, organic foods cannot be underestimated.”
Ms Kurz also commented that, “Nutritionally well-balanced cuisine, clean air, pure water and relaxation are the true essentials of healthy living and I am so proud and excited to be launching Magnolia for our valued Resort guests and Dubai residents to enjoy.”
The Magnolia menu features an eclectic selection of dishes from starters through to desserts and incorporates fresh produce and herbs picked daily from Magnolia’s own vegetable garden.
Dishes such as Chef Gaby’s signature Rosemary Potatoes wrapped in Eggplant, the Herb and Flower Salad with Wild Mushrooms and the Spinach Pimento Risotto with Roasted Asparagus have already proven extremely popular. For those with a sweet tooth, the Iced Cardamom Coffee Cream with Fresh Figs in Vanilla Grapefruit Syrup should not be missed.
The Magnolia experience is not complete without sampling the incredible beverage menu which boasts crystal-enriched water, freshly-squeezed juices, home-made cordials, purees and liqueurs. Innovative drinks such as the Granita Delight is a refreshing mix of strawberries, red grapes and watermelon and is an absolute must.
