Today, Miller Heiman recognized Mincom for its strong growth achievements during the past five years in the face of downturns in overall industry spending. To break into new markets and fend off competition, Mincom collaborated with Miller Heiman to improve its new business ratio through training of Mincom's global sales force in Miller Heiman's sales processes.
Accurate forecasting was a particular challenge and Mincom recognized that adoption of Miller Heiman's standardized sales process produced management visibility and alignment in focusing resources for planned investment. Revenues rose in 2006 by over 20 percent and Mincom reported its best-ever profit in its 27 year history.
