An entrepreneur who set up The Million Names Project.com in 2006 has re-launched the site with a new concept and is also giving away $100 to the owner of a website that can refer the most visitors.
For_Immediate_Release:

April 26, 2007 (Press Release) -- Paul Nichol from England, UK, launched www.millionnamesproject.com last year with an idea to try and make $1m by selling ad space on his website for others to add a name at $1 per name to advertise their site. After realizing that having 1 million links on a page wouldn't be very practical he decided to give his site a make over and re-launch it with a different concept.

The new concept is still for anyone to add a name to advertise a site only now advertisers can pay whatever they wish to add a name with the minimum being $1. Whatever they pay reflects on where their name ad is placed on the homepage. Since the re-launch there have been a number of new advertisers adding their sites and as of writing the current number one advertiser has paid $31 for the number one spot.

Also a new feature to the site is the pay again feature for advertisers to compete against each other to keep there name ads displayed in high positions. This works by an advertiser paying a top up payment to move there name back up the page if another advertiser pays more than they did and their name ad has been moved down the page.

To help promote the re-launch of his site Paul is giving away $100 to the person who has referred the most visitors to his site by the time he has generated $1000. Paul says, "With a chance of winning $100 just by helping promote The Million Names Project, I think will attract quite a bit of interest which in turn will attract a lot of visitors. This will be another added feature to the site, with more set targets to be reached in the future and more winners for the most referrals when those targets are reached."

With so many advertising sites around and with more being launched almost every day, some similar to Paul's site, it may be difficult for The Million Names Project to become successful but with the added incentive of someone winning $100, this may just help it become more successful than many other sites.
