April 30, 2007 (Press Release) -- Ottawa, CANADA – April 30, 2007 – SkyWave Mobile Communications, the leading supplier of D+ communications products and services, today announces the availability of the DMR-200S, the newest addition to its popular DMR-200 series of D+ satellite terminals. The DMR-200S terminal features a low profile and small footprint, along with a separate D+/GPS antenna, making it ideal for use with custom tracking and security applications.

The enduring dependability of the DMR-200 terminal series for reliable applications has made SkyWave the leading D+ terminal provider with over 87,000 units shipped worldwide. In response to global market demand, the new DMR-200S meets the requirements for flexible applications, easily adaptable to fit custom enclosures where space is limited. The DMR-200S terminal is suitable for applications which require installation flexibility, such as container tracking. Its portability is ideal for industrial and military applications.

Installation flexibility is highly valued for applications where an exposed terminal can result in unnecessary risk to assets, cargo and human safety. This includes terminals mounted on armored or other secure military and industrial vehicles which traverse hazardous areas. The DMR-200S connects to devices such as panic buttons, temperature sensors, volumetric meters and text messaging terminals. The separate, rugged, discrete antenna can be mounted on most vehicles or mobile assets, leaving the terminal unit safely concealed. It is also this flexibility that makes the DMR-200S ideal for use in highly covert applications.

“Our customers requested a robust terminal that would give them mounting and installation flexibility,” says Victor Tochijara, Market Development Manager at SkyWave. “The DMR-200S not only meets these requirements, but also maintains the DMR-200 series’ proven and unsurpassed ease of integration.”

To further simplify custom integration, customers can request to have SkyWave’s world-class manufacturing facility pre-program the terminal with customized scripts prior to shipment. For more information, visit www.SkyWave.com.
