April 30, 2007 (Press Release) --
With all the time-consuming demands of modern life, who hasn’t occasionally combined mealtime and drivetime by devouring a breakfast sandwich and guzzling a hot coffee on the way to work? Acknowledging that sometimes people eat and drink in their cars, “The Carbibâ” helps eliminate the messy distractions that can cause drivers to take their eyes off the road. This handy garment protects clothing and car seats from being stained by dropped food or spilled drinks.
Made from a water- and crease-resistant polyester/cotton blend, The Carbibâ has a unique shape that keeps food off clothes and directs major spills to the floor for easy cleanup. When eating and riding, a driver puts on The Carbibâ so he or she doesn’t have to worry about frantically cleaning up food mishaps instead of concentrating on the road. Available in sizes for both adults and children, The Carbibâ is currently being sold on the Internet. (Suggested Retail Price: $15.95)
The inventor developed The Carbibâ based on his own experiences eating on the go. “I’ve worked in sales for 23 years, and I eat in the car often,” he said. “I got tired of spilling coffee and watching mustard squirt out of my sandwich onto my shirt, so I came up with The Carbibâ as a convenient solution. I use it on a daily basis.”
Steel is exhibiting at INPEXâ with the hopes of finding a distributor, licensee, importer/exporter or interested retailer.
INPEXâ, The Invention Show, is a unique trade show that showcases new products and innovations that are available to business and industry to manufacture, license or distribute. As part of the tradeshow, The Invention Show sponsors INPEXâ Inventors University™, a series of seminars, presentations, and panel discussions to provide information that inventors may find useful in pursuing their ideas. This year’s sponsors include Mainland China Direct, LLC, a company that produces, designs and manufactures original design products for the North American, European and Japan markets.
