May 2, 2007 (Press Release) --
TORONTO, April 24, 2007 – The Building Owners and Managers Association of the Greater Toronto Area (BOMA Toronto) honoured Cion Corp. with BOMA Toronto’s first annual Pinnacle Award for Innovation at the “Celebrating Excellence 2007” gala held Thursday, April 19th at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex.
BOMA is an international membership organization that helps building owners and managers maximize profits, ensure tenant satisfaction and enhance asset values for investors through market intelligence, education, networking, and government advocacy.
The Pinnacle Award for Innovation is given to a unique product or service offering for the commercial real estate market that facilitates client service and increases efficiency, productivity or revenue.
Cion’s submission for the award-winning service, ProjectWeb FM, describes the offering as ‘a one of a kind service that is tailored to manage technical documents for building and facilities management teams.’ Cion credits the win to the valuable input they received from clients who use the service as well as to Cion’s parent company, Ingenium Group Inc., for encouraging and supporting the development of innovative solutions.
“We are delighted to have won this award. Receiving recognition from BOMA is a great honour” said Brian Gerstmar, Cion Director. “We are grateful to our clients for their suggestions and support during the development of ProjectWeb FM.”
Maureen Federchuk, Cion Senior Consultant, adds, “This award is a testament to the forward thinking of senior management that we were able to come this far in such a short period of time. I look forward to the continuing evolution of Cion in the months to follow.”
Cion currently manages documentation for more than 25 million square feet of real estate on behalf of industry leaders such as The Cadillac Fairview Corporation , Oxford Properties Group, Canada Lands CLC and Transglobe Management Services.
