Wolfhaven Productions has managed to raise US$758.49 for Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Charity within the virtual world of Second Life during the months of January through April 2007.

For the second year in a row, Wolfhaven Productions, a consulting company operating solely within the Virtual World of Second Life, has managed to help raise funds for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
Our goal was to help with a worthy cause. To that end, kiosk-like devices were distributed by our staff free of charge to those willing to place them at their virtual locations within Second Life. Once these kiosks were in place, residents of Second Life were able to make donations to them in the form of Linden Dollars, the Virtual Currency of Second Life.
The Linden Dollars, currently trading at a rate of approximately L$266/US$1, add up after a while. We raised just over L$209,000 which we then converted using the Second Life Currency Exchange (LindeX) into US$.
The actual payment to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is expected to be completed by Monday, May 7, 2007 on behalf of the walker in the event we are sponsoring, Mr. John White of Thornton, CO.
The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is a 501(c) charity. Second Life is operated by Linden Labs, a San Francisco, CA based company.
