"Waitress" (May 11): The story follows a pregnant pie-maker (Keri Russell) who has a fling with her doctor (Nathan Fillion) while in the midst of dumping her creepo hubby (Jeremy Sisto).
"The Wendell Baker Story" (May 18): This film was written by Luke Wilson, who also co-directed with his brother Andrew. Yes, Owen Wilson is also along for the ride as the baddie in a story where Luke is an ex-con working to save a retirement community.
"Mr. Brooks" (June 1): Kevin Costner stars in a thriller as an Oregon businessman who is also the Thumbprint Killer. Demi Moore is a local cop who is trying to bust him while Dane Cook shows up and takes his picture during a killing spree. Twist time: It turns out that Cook wants to learn from the killer vs. bringing him to justice.
"Surf's Up" (June 8): It's the annual Penguin World Surfing Championship, where upstart Cody Maverick (voice of Shia LaBeouf) wants to make a name for himself.
"Nancy Drew" (June 15): Julia Roberts' niece Emma Roberts plays the girl detective in this film based on the beloved mystery books. This time she's blowing off that boring town of River Heights to high-tail it to Hollywood.
"A Mighty Heart" (June 22): Angelina Jolie stars in the true story of Mariane Pearl, the widow of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and beheaded in 2002 in Pakistan.
"Evan Almighty" (June 22): Jim Carrey is out. But Steve Carell is in this sequel to the 2003 $243 million hit "Bruce Almighty." Carell is on deck now as the newsman and politician who gets called by God (Morgan Freeman).
"Sicko" (June): Michael Moore's latest documentary about the health-care industry that's strictly under wraps until opening.
"Ratatouille" (June 29): It's Pixar's big summer animated flick about cute little pink-nosed rats including leader Remy (voice of Patton Oswalt), who moves into the kitchen of a fancy Paris restaurant with top chef Auguste Gusteau (Brad Garrett).
"Transformers" (July 4): Michael Bay ("Pearl Harbor") directs a big-screen version of the '80s cartoon where alien forces, the Autobots and the Decepticons come to Earth to fight it out. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Rachael Taylor, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Voight, Bernie Mac and Anthony Anderson.
"1408" (July 13): Chicago's own John Cusack stars in a Stephen King story about a hotel suite that becomes the unique personal hell for each individual guest. Samuel L. Jackson is the hotel manager.
"Hairspray" (July 20): The stage musical comes back to the big screen in the story of a larger-than-life Baltimore housewife (John Travolta) whose lovable teenage daughter Tracy lives to appear on a local dance show.
