May 7, 2007 (Press Release) --
Scottsdale, AZ- Dating singles are trading in traditional “dinner and a movie” dates for adventure-filled organized travel. An Arizona singles club is now hosting domestic and international trips for singles of all ages who are tired of the conventional dating game.
Known since 1999 as Arizona’s best singles activity club, Adventures 2000 has chosen to schedule more traveling opportunities in response to the increase in adventure-seeking young singles, and the ever-active Baby Boomer population. Adventures 2000 owner Kim Hamilton is finding out that dinner and a movie just don’t satisfy some of her customers who prefer a little more spice in their lives. “People are looking for adventure and variety,” said Hamilton.
Trips offered by Adventures 2000 have included everything from Las Vegas weekend getaways, a week-long Mexican cruise, to an all-out excursion to Italy. “Our busy single clients can take a great vacation, and at the same time meet other singles,” said Hamilton.
In addition to organized travel groups, Adventures 2000 offers around 30 singles activities per month, which have included cooking lessons, concerts, rock-climbing, hiking, skydiving, and family-friendly events for single parents. “There is something for everyone,” said Hamilton.
Currently gearing up for a big summer, Adventures 2000 is hosting Arizona’s hottest band, Zowie Bowie at the Venue of Scottsdale on July 3, 2007. Zowie Bowie’s Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor have been playing for sold out crowds at venues across Arizona for the last five years, and recently landed a contract for a Las Vegas show. “We’re thrilled to be hosting Zowie Bowie,” said Hamilton.
Adventures 2000 recently added online profiles to it’s website as a way of incorporating both internet and in-person dating. Now, in addition to planned events, members can search for other Adventures 2000 members based on interests and preferences.
Hamilton founded Adventures 2000 in 1999 as a way of providing safe and fun entertainment for Arizona singles of all ages. All membership applications are pre-screened through SafeDate.com as a safety measure before membership is granted. “We want this to be a safe and fun experience for everyone involved,” said Hamilton.
With thousands of current members of all ages, and new ones added every day, Adventures 2000 membership benefits include corporate partner discounts, professionally staffed events, safety screening, and group discounts on some travel events. For more information on how to become a member, or the Zowie Bowie homecoming concert scheduled for July 3, 2007, please visit www.adventures2000.net.
