The Warren Farmers Market is in full swing every Sunday from 9am until 2pm with local farmers offering beautiful flowers - hanging baskets and flats, vegetable flats, and some early spring produce such as lettuce, asparagus and tomatoes. There are also farm fresh eggs, but get there early because they go quickly! Each week, more produce will be available.
Purchasing locally grown produce is a great way to help support local farmers and keep your dollars within Michigan.
The market is held at the Warren City Center Park which is across the street from the GM Tech Center, between 12 & 13 Mile Roads, turn on Kennedy Circle at the light, parking is plentiful and free!
Coming up Memorial Day weekend is Warren's Largest Garage sale which takes place inside the multi-story parking structure, it's a great way to get to many sellers in a short amount of time. Then stop out at the farmers market - its a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Each week there is a drawing for items collected form the farmers, be sure to enter the free raffle!
