Los Angeles, CA (May 11, 2007)— Utilizing his ground-breaking dance moves, endearing personality and imaginative presentation, Shane Sparks, an award-winning choreographer, is rapidly progressing his career in the entertainment industry. Sparks formally announced today that hit reality TV show, So You Think You Can Dance, has resigned him for a third season to star as a choreographer and judge in their new season which premieres with auditions from New York-- Thursday, May 24, 2007 on FOX.
Shane Sparks says he intends to keep America guessing as he breaks out some dance moves no one has ever seen before. Sparks shares, "I am very excited about the new season of So You Think You Can Dance. I am planning to creatively embrace the essence of hip hop while highlighting each dancer’s specific talent. Think of last year as me just warming up—I am bringing something really remarkable to the table this year."
In order to keep the choreography dynamic and engaging, Sparks plans to integrate various ideas he has had in mind since the end of last season. He adds, “While playing off a hip hop vibe with something really hot and sexy, I plan to have my choreography flaunt every talent the dancers’ possess. I want the show’s viewers wanting more and more every week.”
Shane Sparks will definitely be very busy this summer. Not only will he be caught up with all the So You Think You Can Dance hype, but he will also be producing and choreographing a feature film entitled, “Backdown” with Chris Stokes. The film is set to shoot this summer.
