ALPHARETTA – Southern Outdoor Cinema is bringing evenings of free family fun to communities throughout north Georgia this summer, when it shows family-friendly movies in parks from Cumming and Dawsonville to Johns Creek to Gainesville and Newnan.
Pre-movie entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m., when families can enjoy entertainment such as NoJoe’s Clown Circus, face painting, arts and crafts, moonwalk and inflatable slide. Free movies begin at dusk, when Southern Outdoor Cinema lights up its giant two-story tall inflatable screen. Bring lawn chairs, a blanket and a picnic, or enjoy concessions available at the park. No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed.
“Nothing is more relaxing than spending a warm summer night with family, friends and neighbors,” says Paul Murray, Southern Outdoor Cinema owner and organizer of the “Movies in the Park” series. “Check out our free films and add some fun to your summer schedule.”
