Youth Basketball Camp with community support draws youth from everywhere, including the continent of Africa!!!

Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 has arranged its first annual summer basketball camp for kids! This year's camp will be held at Boise's Owyhee Elementary. I, Jamaal Al-Din, would like to give a sincere thanks to all of our sponsors and Mrs. Weaver, the Principal at Owyhee Elementary for her cooperation! Over 30 area sponsors have been generated, thus providing 12 youth-in-need scholarships allowing kids to participate in camp for free. Also there will be free CD cases given to participants, compliments of Butt Furr Inc., here in Boise who is also a proud sponsor of our US Winter Olympic Ski Team! I am very proud and pleased with the area support generated thus far and hope to grow Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 to one of the premier organizatios in Idaho and hopefully the entire country. I am also pleased to give back to the community of Boise. Currently Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 is organizing a multitude of creative events for the fall and winter seasons as well, and many will benefit local charities, the under priviledged, and homeless populations of our community! Everything from a 24-hour shoot-a-thon for school supplies to a holiday season carrolers program for our community's senior citizens!
