Corner Care Clinic will provide “convenient, compassionate, and cost effective” healthcare visits for everyone, from adults to teens and children age 2 and older. No appointments are necessary, and a variety of routine and seasonal vaccinations are offered.
Corner Care Clinic is staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners licensed to treat minor illnesses including bronchitis, strep throat, ear infections and flu. They can also administer several types of wellness screenings and physicals.
“Up until now, this neighborhood has been without a nearby convenient care facility,” said pharmacy owner and pharmacist Anthony Westmoreland. “With a Corner Care Clinic in our pharmacy, it will allow us to have even more services available, and I’m excited to have folks come in and experience how our level of service and convenience is different from other pharmacies.”
“Studies have shown 66% of patients utilizing these types of clinics do not have a primary care physician,” Westmoreland continued. “We hope to work with area doctors who are accepting new patients and serve as a referral source.”
Clinic hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-7pm and Saturday from 8:30am-2pm. The convenient hours help cater to the busy lifestyle of American consumers and families. Credit cards and insurance are also accepted.
