Named one of “30 Under 30 to Watch” by Indiana Alumni magazine in 2004, Chris is a 1998 graduate of Indiana University – Bloomington and a 2004 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism. Prior to joining Coles, Ryan was a senior associate editor at the Angie’s List magazine, where he wrote and edited national homeowner- and consumer-related content.
A Naperville, Ill., native, Ryan resides in Carmel with his wife, Abby.
Before moving to Indianapolis, Ryan spent three years in Los Angeles performing stand-up, improv and sketch comedy while working as an analyst in Paramount Pictures’ Domestic Television Division.
