(Amman, Jordan – May 2007) As part of its "We Deliver" campaign the Arab German Insurance Company organized a free medical day in celebration of Jordan's Independence Day. AGI gathered the best doctors from different specialities; namely: General Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and ENT to provide free medical consultations.
Arab German Insurance Company's insistence to provide the best medical services not only covers consultation but also medication and paramedical assistance; in this instance it collaborated with major pharmaceutical companies to provide free medicine to the public. AGI embarked on this project as a token or appreciation for the Jordanian people on their national day, and as part of their social responsibility towards their community. This is not new for AGI since they have been teaming up with doctors and companies to organize free medical days for the past three to four years.
Mr. Raed Al-Raimouny, General Manager of AGI commented on this initiative by saying, “This day, with all of the consultations, medical and pharmaceutical assistance that has taken place, will be the beginning of AGI's comprehensive plan which includes many activities that will benefit the local community. We will do our best to alleviate the less fortunate health services, carrying out our promise to provide the care on all levels as promised under our slogan, ‘We Deliver’.”
Mr. Al-Raimouny seized this occasion to convey his warmest greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah II on the occasion of Jordan's Independence Day; he also thanked all the organizations and companies that have participated to make this a really valuable celebration of Jordan's independence.
