The growing problem of viruses and std's is exploding among are youth into epidemic proportions something must be done to save our children

Std's have become a normal everyday part of are world making love is fast becoming a dangerous game of russian roulette. For many of are young adults and children it seems that traditional relationships are quickly fading away. The term hooking up, meaning having casual sex, seems to come up alot now adays in colleges high schools and even in some middle schools. With this new culture of loose morals comes with a price- the spread of disease. With more and more of are youth comming in contact with std's and viruses it has reached epidemic status and it seems like it's not getting the attention it deserves.
When it became known that Hpv or Genital Warts caused cervical cancer it seemed as though they came out with a vacine almost immedeatly. which makes you wonder how come this wasn't already available?
The government puts on ads and releases information on how dangerous these diseases are but dosen't do the job it should on promoting family values and setting limits for young children.
Family is probably the most important factor in saving our children from disaster. But with a divorce rate of almost half it seems unlikely that the parents are getting the right message out. Parents need to be strong and work out there problems rather then split up and then go out "hooking up" because children follow there parents more then they relise.
Hopefuly these things will change and family will overcome the Virus but it is unlikely. The spread of std's is turning into a landslide and doesn't look like it's going to slow down anytime soon.
