This first book in the "Fifth Age Chronicles" series by author Carol Kluz focuses on the five teens chosen by Azar, Condragon’s brother. The Chosen are to be trained in their battle strategies and brought to the peak of their magical skills so that one day they will be able to confront the five disciples of Condragon…and survive.

About the Author
Carol Kluz collaborated with book editor Gary Kessler to write Finding Go: Matching Questions and Resources in Getting Published (Winterwolf, 2004). She served in the U.S. Navy in personnel and worked as a proofreader for National Press, as a Web publicist representing Clifford Stevens and M. M. Lehman, and as a freelance editor.
