Affects of Dyslexia
Learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and Attention Deficit Disorder affect millions of individuals and children - many of whom struggle in mainstream school. Adam Caller, spokesperson at Tutors International explains: “We work with children from a variety of educational backgrounds. For example, a recent assignment was for a young man in France who had mild dyslexia and struggled with mathematics. The young man was also shy so we recruited a tutor who had experience in psychology and who could use different approaches to befriend him such as taking him on excursions. Each pupil is different, so a tailored approach and full consultation is required each time to obtain the best result.”

Specialist Tuition for Learning Disabilities
Tutors International was founded by Adam Caller, an international private tutor to prestigious families in France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, California and England. He has received specialist training in dyslexia and Attention Deficit Disorder and offers many avenues of help to children with educational difficulties. Tutors International carefully selects tutors for their ability to work alongside the family and who can relate well to the child. They also provide ongoing support and back-up throughout the contract period and specialist help from an education psychologist in Harley Street, London is also available.
The tutoring programme provided by Tutors International is available on either a part or full time basis with live in tuition offering the greatest benefit. The tuition is aimed to develop self confidence in children and help integrate them into mainstream education. Each tutor places their student on individual learning plans where the amount and type of reading instruction the student receives varies depending on their abilities and difficulties. The tuition also helps children to improve their eye contact and concentration as well as their ability to copy words or actions.
