May 31, 2007 (Press Release) -- According to Sherri Eller, the creator of Licking County Now, "There is plenty to do in and around Licking County; you just need to know about it. Many times I have heard about great events AFTER they occurred and wondered why I didn’t know about them. It seems that each source of media has some of the information, but none have all that I am looking for. I tried to find one source that had it all, but was unsuccessful. I needed information, so Licking County Now was born.

Licking County Now not only features the events in Licking County and nearby neighbors, it also has community information, history, area business information, weather, news, games, pet adoption resources, links and information about free resources in the county, and classified advertisements at very low rates. It is a one stop site for all you want to know. The site also features pictures of recent events, and someone from LCN is always out and about in the communities to find out first hand what’s going on.
